At 45%ABV / 90 proof, Hard Cut is bottled with more muscle than the traditional 80-proof vodka. That extra proof gives the spirit greater presence and weight, while allowing the character developed through fermentation and distillation to come through in the glass. The result is a vodka that is clean and exceptionally smooth, but with a fuller texture, more depth, and a finish that stays with you.

Just as important, we don't need to hide that character behind activated carbon filtration. The quality of the alcohol we ferment and distill is high enough that Hard Cut requires no activated carbon filtration to achieve its clean, refined profile. Instead of stripping the spirit after the fact, we focus on getting the spirit right from the start.
